THE SAVANNAH MILE

The month of May is recognized as First Responders Month. During the month, many events and days of remembrance are planned by cities and communities as a way to honor their first responders. The city of Savannah, Ga is no different. The community along with The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire and Fleet Feet worked together to put on The Savannah Mile, a walk/run benefitting fallen first responders and their families. Covering just a mile stretch of Downtown Savannah, Ga, first responders, their families as well as the community showed up and showed out, in raising money to financially support those affected.
